The official opening will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Pier 23. Artist Dirk Pleyer and gallery owner Luciano Hoch will guide visitors through the exhibition "FORT/HIN" on this day.
Admission: free | Duration: approx. 60 min.
All visitors will receive a complimentary welcome drink (sparkling wine or orange juice).
In the stylish ambience of Pier 23, painter and graphic artist Dirk Pleyer presents a large number of his latest works. The central theme of the exhibition is the typical dramatic vastness of his paintings. At the same time, new works are on display in which Pleyer explores concepts such as wanderlust and the desire to travel.

The exhibition is accessible free of charge during the opening hours of the Pier 23 restaurant:

Mon. - Fri.: 12:00 - 15:00 & from 17:00
Sat. & Sun.: 11.30 - 15:00 & from 17:00
The kitchen is open from 12:00 - 14:30
and from 17:00 - 22:00.
Parking
Parking is available in the paid public parking lots at Georgstraße 19 and at the Frisia-Center at Leer (Ostfriesland) train station. Please note the limited headroom at the latter.
